I don’t know how much I learned versus how much was confirmed. Going into the year, I kind of thought that the universe was good and people were bad. Coming out, I’m feeling slightly the opposite.

I guess I’ve learned that having the best of intentions doesn’t mean that other people will see it that way. I also learned that a person is trying to make it appear as if they have good intentions does not necessarily indicate that they do. 

I learned the difference between having fun and being reckless. I learned that people make a lot of mistakes. The people who care will forgive. I learned that the most faith I have in people are those who look at my mistakes and tell me that we’re going to fix them.

I’ve confirmed that people use social networking mostly to hurt others. I’ve confirmed that girls are still mainly concerned with gossip. I’ve confirmed that guys are still mostly concerned with girls. 

Lastly, I’ve confirmed that if god exists, he’s an asshole. 

In 2012, we will go hard in the paint.
